Wilthen is nestled and protected in the valley between Großer Picho, Dahrener Berg, Weifaer Höhe, Lärchenberg, Sonneberg and Mönchswalder Berg.
You can hike all of these mountains on the Great Circular Hiking Trail and immerse yourself in idyllic forests, far away from the stress and hectic pace of everyday life. Our mountain restaurants along the way will take care of your physical well-being, or you can have a picnic in our huts with your own provisions.
From time to time you may also come across our landmark, the Pumphut, in the form of legend boards.
