Today you can hike from the Hohenzollern residence town of Haigerloch to the famous Hohenzollern Castle, tomorrow you can stroll across the Alb plateau towards the Lauchert and Fehla valleys. And on the last day, enjoy Sigmaringen Castle and the Danube.
Between the Neckar and Danube, between Hechingen and Sigmaringen, a total of five stages await hiking enthusiasts and nature lovers. Covering an average of 20 kilometers, they lead through charming landscapes that could not be more varied: Natural paradises such as the juniper heaths, the Alb foreland, bathing lakes and romantic river meadows, a barefoot path, but also castles, palaces and ruins, time-honored inner cities and historic buildings are all part of the program when you follow the Hohenzollern hiking trail and walk in the footsteps of German emperors and kings.
