Die kleine Chattengaurunde

On the small Chattengau loop, you cycle through the Chattengau, a wide fertile plain from which conical basalt peaks protrude, without any major climbs. They give this landscape its unique character. In the middle of the Chattengau lies the half-timbered town of Gudensberg with its diverse cultural offerings. This is the start and end point of the cycle tour. Don't miss out on a leisurely stroll through the old town and a detour to the Obernburg, where you can enjoy a magnificent view over the region.
This tour promises spectacular views of the typical basalt hilltops with their unique flora. It is ideal for a short, leisurely cycling excursion in a sociable group and offers many places to stop for refreshments. As it is partly on country roads, it is not recommended for families with small children.
