Niedercunnersdorf was first mentioned in a document dating back to 1221. The many beautifully maintained half-timbered houses, more than 2/3 of which were built before 1820, are a particular gem. Particularly worth seeing are, for example, the rectory, the factor house at Niedere Hauptstraße 37 and the old manor house in Ottenhain.
