The chapel tour leads to the most beautifully situated chapels in and around Bayrischzell. The highlight of the tour, the Birkenstein pilgrimage chapel in Fischbachau, is halfway along the route.
The entire tour is also easy to manage on a touring bike and is suitable for families, as there are only a few meters of elevation gain and the quality of the route is good to very good.
There are numerous places to stop for refreshments along the route. In Bayrischzell, Osterhofen, Geitau and Birkenstein, you can treat yourself to delicacies from Bavarian cuisine
