This challenging mountain tour leads sporty families up to the summit. Against the backdrop of the legend of the mysterious Wendelstein men, you can learn a lot about mountain plants and animals as well as the local alpine pastures at eight stations along the way. The new knowledge is immediately tested in a children's quiz.
The actual trail starts on the Hochkreuth plateau and then up to the Wendelstein summit. The 8 stations along the trail promise excitement and fun with names such as "The place of good gifts", "Meeting place of the little men", "Secret hiding place" or "Change place".
The quiz is solved at the end of the trail in the Wendelstein cave, where the numerical code can be digitally exchanged for a password. This gives all clever hikers a small gift, which they can obtain from the Wendelstein cable car or the Bayrischzell tourist information office.
