Romantic hike along the Vils: The Vils is a tributary of the Danube, which flows into the Danube at Vilshofen.
At the end of the 1990s, the valley on both sides of the river was designated the Vilsengtal nature reserve. Hikers can marvel at the local flora and fauna on an idyllic circular trail and learn more about the former granite mining in the region.
