The trail runs through a blessed, fertile and diverse landscape and includes part of the neighboring Tuniberg.
12 wine-growing communities are touched, all of them sonorous names to the ears of the wine connoisseur. On the Breisach - Riegel section, the route coincides with the Rhine Valley Cycle Trail and the Breisgau Roman Cycle Trail.
