The 59.4 km long St. Wendel tour starts at the parking lot behind the train station in St. Wendel. Road cyclists should allow around 2:45 hours. It goes steeply uphill through the town and the district of Urweiler and then downhill to Leitersweiler.
The route continues through the Ostertal valley, under the Oberkirchen valley bridge and via Asweiler, Walhausen, Türkismühle and Eckelhausen to Bostalsee, where it is worth taking a break.
You reach the Wendelinus cycle path at Wareswald in Tholey via Selbach, which leads directly back to the starting point. There are a total of 595 m of elevation gain to overcome.
