GPS Educational Trail Holz in Marienmünster

Discovering the nature park also means pointing out historical and cultural sights. The Marienmünster Abbey is located in an impressive landscape setting and several hiking trails lead to the Benedictine abbey founded in 1128. The nature park has created a one-kilometer long educational trail here with funding from the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, which explains the connections between forest use and monastery life.
The varied path starts at the information center and, apart from a staircase of three steps with a landing between each step, is largely without steep inclines.
