Wiesbütt-Schleife

The "Bieberer Acht", a cultural trail that illustrates mining in Bieber in the 18th century, and the "Bieberer Pfädchen" dominate this tour. The first section of the route includes the Burgberg Chapel, the Wiesbütt, the Lochborner pond and the Lochmühle. The second section of the route is dominated by Birkenhainerstrasse and Bieberer Pfädchen. Paved forest paths, asphalted sections as well as the Schwarzbach Trail and the Bieberer Pfädchen shape the route. The tour starts at the village community center in Roßbach. From here, you roll along the cycle path in the direction of Bieber. The above-mentioned cultural trail now accompanies the route up to the Burgberg chapel. Further on, you reach the Wiesbütt, a moor and pond area, as well as the intersection of two historic traffic routes in the Spessart, the Birkenhainer Straße and the Eselsweg. Here the route changes back to the Bieberer Acht cultural trail and leads along the Schwarzbach trail past the Lochborner pond to the Lochmühle, both of which bear witness to the former mining industry in Bieber. After the ascent to Dr. Kihn-Platz, the route follows Birkenhainer Straße to Bieberer Pfädchen, another highlight of this route. The last section of the route leads back to Roßbach via a forest and meadow path.
