Description

At the idyllic Geiselquelle, shaded by old chestnut trees, the circular route Müchelholz begins and ends.
At the beginning of the path stands the late Romanesque church St. Micheln, which belongs to the Romanesque Road in Saxony-Anhalt. The church of St. Micheln can hardly be described more beautifully than in a poem by the merchant Willy Arndtz, which he wrote in 1928:

"On the mountain at the highest point
Stands the old and gray church.
Below it the Geiselquelle
Above it the blue of the sky."

The varied path leads across meadows, along the edge of the forest, and through the woods.
To conclude, you return to the Geiselquelle. A refreshing pleasure awaits with water treading at this beautiful location.
