Weddelbergrundweg A2

Starting point of the circular hike is at the hiking portal Weddelsee, where the Medebacher Bergweg also begins.
On natural paths and trails, we discover the almost 500 m high Weddelberg. Since the spruces of the forest fell victim to the bark beetle and had to be cut down, there are beautiful views of the Center Parcs Hochsauerland and the AVENTURA - SpielBerg along the way. A small highlight awaits us at the rest area at Hasenkammerblick, where the view, as the name suggests, goes into the Hasenkammertal. A panoramic board explains the surrounding mountains. Up here is also a good place to rest comfortably. A forest sofa as well as a wooden table and bench warmly invite you to do so. Along winding paths, we descend through the forest down to the Weddelsee.
