The idyllic hiking trail connects all the wayside crosses in and around Bauerbach with the historic buildings there.
The search for traces begins with a sandstone cross, of which there are twelve along the trail in various artistic designs. In between are the historical local treasures such as the Schwedenkapelle chapel, the church, the former vicarage, the oldest half-timbered house, the town hall, the old office building, the tithe barn and the former synagogue.</p
