Bissendorfer Circular Tour South

The 28km long circular tour leads through Bissendorf and the surrounding villages in a south-easterly direction. We start our trip in Bissendorf near the Sonnensee, which invites you to take a short detour.
Via Wersche we pass the Linner See and head towards Linne. Behind the outskirts of Linne, we turn towards Ellerbeck. Shortly before Nemden, we turn back towards Bissendorf. We reach Holte via a winding and ascending road. In a wooded area just after Holte on the left side, lies the Holte Castle ruins. It is worth parking the bikes here and taking a short walk to the castle. There are information boards at the ruins with explanations.
After this short detour, we hop back on the bikes and cycle back to Bissendorf via Uphausen. If you like, you can explore the local museum here. Under supervision, you can even weave on a historic loom. Please check the opening hours on the website of the Bissendorf local heritage association.
