The recreation area Berge has always offered hikers and nature lovers a varied landscape with many signposted trails. The five circular hiking trails from the Berghausen "Billkuhle" car park were re-signposted by the Berge local history association a few years ago. Hiking trail 3, at about 7.5 kilometers, is the longest of the three signposted trails and leads along ponds, a playground, and a hiking hut through diverse nature. The trail is marked with a "3" and mainly runs along forest paths.
