Hare" circular route

7.5 km - 1:30 h | Starting point: Info point on the culture trail, Op de Wohm, Ellingstedt

Start your tour at the memorial stone "Zur Einnerung an die Erhebung Schleswig-Holsteins", follow the signs for "Hase" and turn right into Dorfstraße. You pass the traffic island "Dreieck Schönes Dorf" and walk across the Langacker until you turn right into the Karkstieg (Sandweg). At the end of Karkstieg, turn right onto the cycle and footpath of the K39 and continue to the Morgenstern bus stop. A table and bench combination invites you to linger here. At the bus stop, turn right onto the asphalt path "Beek" and continue to a crossroads in front of a farm. Here you have the option of turning right and shortening the hike by approx. 3 km. The circular route continues straight ahead, passing meadows and fields to the left and right. You cross the K9 and now walk along the "Ihdenheide" road. After about 750 m, turn right into "Grüner Weg". After a short distance, you will come to the "Seshornmoor" information board. At the end of the path, turn right onto the "Busholm" road. Via a cycle path branching off to the left, you reach the Hohendiek road (K9), keep left here and reach the northern bus stop and Dorfstraße. There used to be a railroad station in this area in the 19th century. The "Rundweg Hase" now leads along Dorfstraße to the site of the former school in the center of the village. You will then see the memorial to the fallen and missing from the 1st and 2nd World Wars on the left-hand side and return to your starting point. Worth seeing:Margaret Wall & DanewerkGosch/Sylt
