Description by the author

From the starting point at the Bräuhausgarten (public toilet), we take the Wasserstraße to the Rödelangerweg under the bridge. From here we follow the Schwarzachtal cycle path, past the Irlweiher pond and outdoor pool, towards Gmünd. In the village, we cross the Schwarzach and follow the next turning to the right. At the Heimerl chapel, we turn left across the Niebauer wasteland to Kleinenzenried and on to Bernried and then Marketsried. Here the hiker is offered a beautiful view to the south. You can quench your thirst in the beer bar. Following the long-distance hiking trail and the Main-Danube trail, the path reaches the Goldsteig trail to the south of the Galgenberg, which is followed to the right. From Kleinenzenried, the way back is via the familiar path.
