Leave Kolmberger Straße a few meters after the end of the village on a hilltop on the left. After 150 m you enter the forest until you reach the Plarnhof chapel (approx. 1 km). A narrow tarred road leads past the hamlet of Plarnhof for approx. 800 m and joins a wider road. Cross this road and after approx. 1.5 km you will reach Lederdorn on dirt tracks over a hill. Shortly after the church, follow the main road to the right and after 200 m turn left towards Ramsried, soon turning left again. The path gradually ascends towards the summit of the Haidstein with its castle ruins, mountain church and forester's lodge. Descending through the forest, you reach your next destination after approx. 2 km: the 1,000-year-old Wolfram lime tree in Ried. Before the lime tree, the path branches off to the right and after 1.8 km leads to the state road at Gadsdorf, which you follow on the left for 300 m to Reckendorf. At the end of this village, leave the tarred road to the right and after 2.5 km you reach Blaibach again via field and forest paths on the Gsteinetstraße. Refreshments: Berggasthof Haidstein (May-October)
