Rundwanderweg Zandt - Pfahlhof - Zandt

The Pfahlhof is a beautiful hiking destination for the whole family. There are lots of animals here that you can pet and a large trampoline for your children to let off steam while you enjoy a cold beer in the beer garden at the "Blasini" country inn. We start in the center of the village at the hiking board at the Tourist Info and follow the markings in a southerly direction along Harrlinger Straße until we reach the Trosterauweg crossroads, where we immediately turn right onto the forest path. After a section of forest, we reach a wood processing plant, where we keep left towards the main road. Continue right to Riedhof. At the Riedbach bridge, we turn left before the hill onto a forest path towards Pfahlhof. An educational forest trail accompanies us, with informative information boards about the forest and the Pfahl (a quartz rock). The "Himmelsstiege", a steep staircase, leads you to the highest point of the "Pfahl", to the geologically interesting quartz rock, which dominates the Bavarian Forest over a length of approx. 150 meters. Forest over a length of approx. 150 km. You can rest comfortably at the seating area and enjoy the view. The "Pandurensteig" trail also runs here. There are two ways to hike to the Pfahlhof. Either follow the Pandurensteig along the Pfahl to the junction to Wolfersdorf and then follow the markings to the left towards Pfahl or, at the Himmelstiege, take the forest path suitable for baby carriages along the forest nature trail to the "Pfahlhof" with the cozy country inn "Blasini". It's worth stopping for a bite to eat (Mon to Sat from 4 p.m., Sundays and public holidays all day), even if the path has not been difficult so far. The markings take us past the sewage treatment plant and vacation village back to our starting point.
