The winter hiking trail starts at the Arrach tourist information office and takes you along Lamer Straße to the Vogelwiese district of Arrach. Here you continue for a short distance on the designated "Lamer-Winkel-Arber cycle path", which now runs alongside the state road. After the bridge, turn left onto a well-surfaced and cleared forest path. After approx. 1.6 km you reach the idyllic Simmereinöde, nestled in the forest. Return via the same route.
