Winterzauber erleben auf dem Goldsteig

This snowshoe hike runs along a section of the GOLDSTEIG award-winning hiking trail and European long-distance hiking trail, making it a very special highlight. The meeting point is at Arrach railroad station. The journey to the Eck-Riedelstein ski area is on the Arrach/Zellertal ski bus (free with the Lamer Winkel guest card). The beautiful but challenging hike begins there. You immerse yourself in a dreamlike snow-covered mountain world with a wonderful panorama. After about an hour, you reach the summit of the Kleiner Riedelstein. A little further on you reach the summit of the Großer Riedelstein. Riedelstein. There, the natural monument "Waldschmidtdenkmal", which has been erected in honor of the local writer "Maximilian Waldschmidt" and is clad in a white winter dress, will delight you. Via the Rauchröhren and the Steinbühler Gesenke you reach the Kötztinger Hütte after about three hours, which invites you to take a break. After a well-earned refreshment, the descent is via the Goldsteig feeder trail (also Arracher Wanderweg Ar6) via Simmereinöde. After around 6-7 hours, the eventful and magical winter hike comes to an end.
