The nature observation pier in Wiesenfelden is the starting point for today's stage, if you have spent the night here. Via Utzenzell, Kragenroth and Kleinneundling, the Goldsteig initially leads hikers along wonderful field, forest and meadow paths. Then it's uphill to Pilgramsberg: this first hill is the overture to the following mountain ascents, valley crossings and rapidly accumulating altitude meters. In Pilgramsberg, the pilgrimage church of St. Ursula awaits the hiker. From here, the view opens up to the Danube plain and, in very good weather conditions, even as far as the Alps. The descent into the Haunkenzell valley then leads over numerous steps and a wonderful forest path, where today's stage ends at the "Silbersterne" inn in Haunkenzell.
