Author's tip: Magnificent winter hiking trail (with a slight deviation: not along the Neuhausbach stream, but on the sidewalk along the B17) towards Schlögelmühle)

Way description: We start at the hiking board in front of the tourist information office in Steingaden and pass the Premonstratensian monastery, from where we come to the sawmill. Here we take the hidden path along the Neuhausbach stream and cross Schlögelmühle. Once we have left the village behind us, we take the path uphill to the left at Grabensee in the direction of Gogel. Here we circle the Heilig Kreuz church on the Kreuzberg and enjoy the wonderful Alpine scenery. At the Biberschwöller See lake, we return to our initial route.
