Way description: We start our tour in Steingaden on Kissingerstraße heading east. At the fourth possibility, we turn left and cross the Ammergauer Straße at the crossroads. At the next opportunity, we turn right, where the asphalt road turns into a forest path. We pass the Brunnhäuslwald forest and reach the B17 via Ilberg. We cross the main road. A footpath leads us downhill along the forest. We turn right again and come to Lauterbach. At the first opportunity, we turn left and follow the asphalt road in a north-westerly direction. After leaving Lauterbach, this road becomes a gravel path, which we follow for a long time. After the small wooded area, we take the path to the left and return to Steingaden on this path with a wonderful Alpine panorama.
