Description: The Schwalm with its numerous lakes, then many pine and deciduous forests and arable and vegetable cultivation: this is how this attractive and largely flat area in the southern Lower Rhine presents itself. Most paths lead through a quiet landscape, rarely along main roads. Two-thirds of the route runs on field and forest paths, but there is rarely rough ground. There are numerous places along the way where you can stop for a drink.
