Stage 3: Mechernich Feyer Mühle – Euskirchen-Kreuzweingarten – 13 km. It leads through the Mechernich Forest to the Maria Rast Monastery, then to Kreuzweingarten and to a spur of the Roman canal and to the remains of a small temple.
