The tour passes historic sites such as "Schwarze Tafel" on the Franco-German border towards Ludwigswinkel. Information panels tell the story of the two nations, and also mention the "Area 1" site dating from the Cold War. The tour also passes the Biosphere House in Fischbach and the ruins of Wasigenstein Castle.
