It’s going to be sharp! Discover the heart of the city. For those wanting to keep it more ecological: combine this bike loop with public transport (train station Essen-Holthausen). You can start this route anywhere. The church (St. Barbara) is definitely a good starting point. There’s little chance you will see many cars along this route. The route partly leads over unpaved paths. Be sure to admire the sights along this route (including the Vereinigte Himmelsfürster Erbstollen mine). Everyone will agree with me: a beautiful route.
