Kroppach-Winterberg-Hilchenbach-Kroppach (Westerwald and Sauerland)

This beautiful route leads through a number of nature reserves. You will get to know diverse areas, for which the Westerwald is also known. With this route, you will travel both in the Westerwald and in the Sauerland. One moment with wide views, the next moment right in the forest. Beautiful backroads, climbing and descending, it's all included. Halfway through, we reach the famous ski resort Winterberg, which is definitely worth a visit.

The route begins and ends at Motorranch Westerwald. The route takes you through the Lahn-Dill-Bergland Nature Park to Winterberg. Just before the nature park, we briefly travel through Bisschoffen and along the Aartalsee before Mudersbach. Just before Winterberg, we pass the Glindveld nature reserve. I had lunch in Winterberg. There are many restaurants there. Something that is not particularly common in this area, Westerwald and Sauerland. There is also a Bikers’ Hut, Herrloh's Biker Hut Winterberg, Am Waltenberg 67a, 59955 Winterberg, which is only open on weekends. There are also a number of motorcycle-friendly hotels in Winterberg.

Then we go back downhill over Rothaar Ridge on Grenzweg to Hilchenbach. Then we head back to Kroppach. The route can be completed in 6 hours. Stops not included.
