WWu Mülheim on the Mosel West 40km

Tour for leisure road cyclists from Mülheim on the Mosel, where you cycle nearly 40 km on paved roads and bike paths. You will ride a lot through the vineyards on the slopes of the Mosel.
The first part of the route is flat, where you cycle on a bike path next to the Mosel. In Minheim, you cross the Mosel. There, the climb to Piesporterberg begins, first through the vineyards, then on a slightly larger road. There are some very beautiful views here. The climb to Piesporterberg is tough, especially the first part of the ascent. Road bike, e-bike, or bike with multiple gears are recommended. After the ascent, there follows a rapid descent on the well-maintained road to Klausen. From there, there's a small paved climb over Monzel to Maring-Noviand. After passing through Monzel, there's another ascent to Brauneberg.

The last part of the route leads over the Maare-Mozel cycle path, then it goes over the (busier) Mosel bridge back to the starting point in Mülheim on the Mosel.
