Description by the author

The schlei is a side arm of the Baltic Sea and, according to some, would be a fjord, but its history is unclear. Nevertheless, it is perfect for cycling through its flat environment with bicycle-friendly streets and villages. Also nice is that a ferry should be taken halfway through this trip at the place where the Schlei is narrowest. Enough ingredients to make it a top trip!
