The Teverenerheide is a special natural area that has become very popular among hikers in recent years. There are many moors in the area that give this former gravel pit a unique character. The many birches contribute to the pre-alteration. A special place is the Grotenrather Püttchen. A small spring that served as a drinking spot for cattle at this time.
