Route Nordheide "Wilde13 Long Drink" (220 km)

This route Nordheide "Wilde 13 Long Drink" starts in Dibbersen at the A1 motorway junction and leads through the villages of Hanstedt, Amelinghausen, Müden(Örtze), Bergen, Bad Fallingbostel, Bomlitz, Neuenkirchen, Schneverdingen, and Todtgluesingen back to Buchholz in the Nordheide. Along the way, the special parking areas with the typical Nordheide landscapes featuring heather are visited. After just a few hundred meters, one can walk into these natural landscapes, which are appealing not only during the blooming period in August/September. Near the parking areas, there is often gastronomy available. The parking lot Büsenbachtal could be the first stop if the journey has been a bit longer beforehand. The next stop is the parking lot Auf dem Töps – the path to the heath is about 800 m long. Then comes the parking lot Döhle directly at the gate to the Döhler Heide nature reserve. Next is the parking lot Lönsstein, also with facilities at Wietzer Berg, surrounded by heathland. The Hof Café in Müden (https://www.winkelhof-mueden.de) offers a coffee experience on the red sofa, located close to Lönsstein. Then the military training area is bypassed (caution in Belsen) and afterwards the Lönsgrab Juniper Grove can be hiked (800 m) from the nearby golf parking lot in Tietlingen. The return journey passes through Schneverdingen to the last Nordheide parking lot Höpen for visiting the Heidegarten (800 m), where coffee is also available on the way.
