Until 1 January 2007 Munkebo municipality was a municipality in former Funen County on the northeast coast of the island of Funen in central Denmark. The municipality covered an area of 19 km2, and had a total population of 5,720 . Its last mayor was Palle Hansborg-Sørensen, a member of the Social Democrats political party. The main city and the site of its municipal council was the town of Munkebo.
