In 2017, Outrup Parish Association acquired 2.8 hectares of green space in connection with the original facility. The area has walking and cycling paths, and there is a picnic house with 2 table-bench sets, a swing set, a balance device, and play equipment. Additionally, there is a larger outdoor stage, which is used to host the annual children's music festival, where all day care providers, kindergartens, and after-school centers in the former Blaabjerg Municipality participate. Each summer, the outdoor stage has a backdrop featuring Frello's amber image.
There is grazing/nature care on the areas with paths and walkways, as well as a bridge over Outrup Stream to the facility.
