When you drive out of Årre town and about 400 meters from the town gate, you will find the forest on your left side. A path leads from the road up to the house and you may only walk here. The forest is a peace forest and a gift to the town for all time.
Here, you can sit in peace and quiet and enjoy the silence as well as the many different kinds of birds and other animals that live freely and reside in the forest year-round. They are lovingly provided with food in the cold season, so a trip on a winter's day will also be a great experience for both children and adults. The forest has several cozy paths. The forest contains many different types of trees, bushes, and flowers. So pack a picnic basket - enjoy the place and clean up, so it also looks nice for the next guests.
