The primitive campsite consists of 1 mini-shelter with a fire pit and a small bench. There is the possibility to set up a couple of smaller tents within 20 meters of the shelter. There is room for 2-3 overnight guests in the shelter.
You must bring your own water and firewood. It is allowed to collect branches from the forest floor for firewood, but no trees may be felled.
The shelter area must be left tidy, and all waste must be taken out of the forest. Remember to extinguish the fire before leaving the campsite.
Since there are no markings from the local forest road to the shelter itself, one must find it using the GPS coordinates.

If traveling by public transport, you can take a train or a bus to Troldebakkerne station, from where there is a hike of about 3 kilometers. If you are driving, you can park at the parking lot by Valby Hegn, from where there is a hike of about 2 kilometers.
