Frøbjerg Bavnehøj between Tommerup and Aarup southwest of Odense is Funen's highest point at 130 meters. From the top of Bavnehøj, there is a fantastic view over Funen.
Bavnehøj is part of a characteristic dead ice landscape. The hills are flat on top with very steep sides and notable meltwater gullies.
The 12 ha large area around Frøbjerg Bavnehøj is owned by the Nature Agency and was protected in 1947. The area consists of two hills, the Bavnehøj itself at 130 meters and the small hill at 122 meters.
Frøbjerg Bavnehøj is included along with 21 other Danish mountains in the concept 'BestigBjerge'.
