The 32 ha large Solbjerg Engsø and the surrounding meadows were established in 1993 along Pøle Å as part of a plan to improve water quality in Arresø. At the lake, among other things, a number of wading birds and ducks can be seen. A bird watch tower has not been built, but the marked spot is a very fine observation point when birdlife in and around the lake is to be observed. Access is 200 m from the parking lot on the western edge at Tibberup Holme and 1400 m from the parking lot at Solbjergvej in Kagerup.
