Sea trout, garfish, herring, and cod. During the winter period, cod is predominantly fished, but from mid-May, garfish appears in abundant quantities. In late autumn, there are again cod and sea trout, as well as possibly escaped rainbow trout. Weather conditions: The fishing conditions in the Great Belt are very affected by wind and current conditions, but southbound currents and light winds are recommended. Launching of boats can take place in either Vordingborg South Harbour or Vordingborg North Harbour.
