From Skiveren, you cycle through Tversted Plantation. The route crosses Tolne Nature Park, where you cycle past Eskær Forest and Tolne Forest, which are some of the most important original broadleaf forests in Vendsyssel. This part of the route is quite flat and follows paved and gravel roads through the forests. From Dvergetved, you cycle down the hill on a bumpy gravel road, so slow down if you don't want it to be too wild. Further south, you come to Katsig Bakker, where the terrain is very hilly. The route continues into Frederikshavn municipality and connects to the Hærvejens cycling route in Østervrå.
