The nature park is part of Danish Nature Parks and has this quality stamp due to its unique natural values, a rich plant and animal life, exciting cultural environments, and the many good opportunities for outdoor activities both on land and at sea.
The route starts and ends at Axeltorv in the center of Nakskov. Here you will find shopping, accommodation, and dining. From Nakskov, the journey goes along the harbor and Nakskov Fjord, and further north through Sandby to Frederiksdal Gods, which is world-renowned for its cherry wines. Here you will find a farm shop, a castle park, and beautiful nature with hiking trails.
