Jyderup Path

The Jyderup Trail runs from Svinninge to Kongskilde through a beautiful and varied landscape with many magnificent natural areas and historical attractions. The trail starts or ends at the parking lot of Kongskilde Nature Center (Skælskørvej 34, 4180 Sorø). Here in nature, we have only mapped the part of the trail that runs on the Nature Agency's land.

Long stretches of the trail go through forests, where as a hiker, you should note that there are different rules for traffic in private and public forests.

Rules for traffic in the forest:

In private forests, you may walk and cycle on roads and paths. Access is allowed from 6 AM to sunset, and you must not stay closer than 150 meters from buildings.

In public forests, you may be present all day, but not stay closer than 50 meters from residences. It is allowed to move outside roads and paths if there is no fencing. Both the state and municipalities can own forests.
