Tørringbanen Stage 5 - approx. 10 km

This bike route is one of 9 stages that follows the track of the Tørring Line and the branch Rask Mølle-Hjortsvang as closely as possible. The route mainly takes the paved roads, but also occasionally touches on dirt roads and paths.
The bike routes are designed as round trips that both follow the railway and extend into the landscape to interesting places with stories about people and life during the railway's time.

Parking is available at the Stationspladsen by Rask Mølle Kro, where the former Rask Mølle Station is also located.
The town became a hub when the Tørring Line got a new branch towards Aale and further to Ejstrupholm in 1929. Before the railway, Rask Mølle was just a watermill that lay lonely here in the valley.
This stage shows the course of the railway and tells the story of the busy Dortheasminde Station. It continues to Uldum Station, just 800 meters further on.
The return trip goes through Uldum Kær along dirt roads and narrow paths – to Boring with a view of the site Boringholm.
