PostNord Denmark Round individual time trial 2016

Nyborg laid asphalt for the individual time trial in PostNord Danmark Rundt in 2016. The riders started on the cobblestones in the center of the historic medieval town before heading southwest. If the riders could have stopped, they would surely have visited Refsvindinge Brewery, but they had to settle for admiring both the brewery and the idyllic landscapes from the saddle. However, you can stop in Vindinge, at Refsvindinge Brewery and several places in the idyllic valley around Lille Mølle. From Kogsbølle, you ride along Stevnshøjvej, where you have a fantastic view of Nyborg Fjord with the Great Belt Bridge in the background. By the way, the bridge that the Tour de France peloton passes in 2021 on its way to the finishing stretch in Nyborg. From the top of the hill, the route goes back towards Nyborg again and past the beautiful Holckenhavn Castle.
