Wild Horses - The Experience Routes of Nature's Land

The route goes from Lalandia through Rødbyhavn, and then past exciting villages and Lungholm Castle. In Errindlev, you can stock up at the local grocery store.

The Nature Center Lyttesholm is the next major stop on the trip, and the entrance to the nature reserve Saksfjed-Hyllekrog. Here you will find information about the exciting area. The nature reserve is one of Denmark's most important places for migratory raptors, and also features wild horses, sea eagles, a multitude of shorebirds, a large population of fallow deer, as well as other fascinating fauna and flora.

With a lovely view over the Fehmarn Belt, the journey returns towards Rødbyhavn westward along the South Lolland Dike, which was established after the storm surge of 1872. On the way back, you cycle on the Railway Path, a disused railway that connected southern and mid-Lolland. The entire stretch to Maribo is a beautiful and car-free path.
