The southernmost Denmark - Experiences of the Natural Land

You cycle south through the summer house area and down to Bøtøskoven, where you can cycle and walk through Bøtøskoven, where wild horses and cattle roam, acting as nature caretakers and creating a new, light-open forest. Keep your distance from the animals. There is plenty of information on site.

In Gedesby, for example, you can visit the small church. There is an opportunity to buy refreshments or visit the beautiful bathing beach.

The halfway point is at Gedser Odde, by the Marine Station. Here, there is a place to sit down, there are toilets, and you can fill up drinking water.

Gedser Odde is Denmark's southernmost point, here the wind and sea have free play, and every year the sea erodes a bit of the coast. Several buildings have already disappeared, but the former Marine Station still stands firm. The journey then continues towards Gedser.
