The Landscape
The path goes through the northwestern part of the Søhøjlandet near Silkeborg towards the flatter moraine landscape to the north. Just north of Silkeborg, the hilly landscape can be seen, where there is very beautiful nature, and from where the citizens of Silkeborg get their drinking water. Many beautiful valleys are visible, shaped by the drainage from the last ice age. Around Øster Bording, the flat moraine landscape is observed. From Skægkær, the railway path follows Lemming Å. In this section, the railway path is very beautiful, with birds singing and bubbling streams, and the path ends about four km after Skægkær, where the hilly landscape can be seen again.
The Towns
Øster Bording and Skægkær are typical villages that have grown up around the railway.
The Streams
Lemming Å flows east and ends at Alling Å right
