The tour goes from the country's youngest market town, Skjern, towards the land of the salmon where you follow a beautiful stretch along the Skjern River past Borris and back again through the beautiful nature. Enjoy the eastern part of Skjern Enge, where you have the opportunity to get close to nature and wildlife. On the trip, you will pass by Borris Hede - a military shooting range, but also Denmark's largest heath landscape with bogs, meadows, and inland dunes. Along the way, you can stop at the House of Salmon where you can learn more about life by the river and cycle past Fandens Eng, which may have received its distinctive name because it was a challenge for the farmhands to harvest hay there.
